Wiring problem

Morning all.

Can anyone think of a reason why my fog light works fine, but goes off when I turn on the dipped beam? The dipped beam also doesn't work, so maybe fixing that will fix the fog light too.

Cheers!

I tell a lie, it's only the tell tale on the dash that goes out, the fog light stays on...

OK so that was just a corroded old style fuse. Quick twiddle and all lights work fine except indicators and hazards.

I'll undoubtedly be back with more questions shortly. Mot weds and this is my only window to fix it!

Anyone recognise this indicator switch? I've googled every ford I can think of and it's not coming up. Similar to fiesta but without the horn on the end.

Cheers!

It has to be something that had a horn push in the steering wheel. Think thst rulescout fiesta and mk3-on escorts. There's a few varieties of Sierra ans Granada it could be.

I'm honestly looking forward to redoing it from scratch. It's an absolute nightmare keeping it working as it is.

It might just need the cable ends done properly and a bit of cable tiding up, winter job...
