Tracking an 05 Blade engine car without a baffle plate?

Hi guys,

I’m not having much luck finding a baffle plate to suit my 05 Blade engined car and have a track day coming up that I’d like to have a crack at. I haven’t done a track day in it yet so I was wondering if these engines are ok just running a bit more oil (not sure how much though?) or do they need a baffle plate to avoid oil starvation?

I’m running Kuhmo V70A semi slicks so not a full slick which I imagine would have a bearing on cornering forces.

I think Andy Bates told me that though you can get away with a baffle on the early motors, the injected 'blades really need either a swinging pickup sump, an accusump, or dry-sump for track work.
