Status Quo
Saw them at Cambridge Corn Exchange last night and they were superb. Possibly the loudest thing I have ever heard barring a running gas turbine!

And they don't take themselves seriously - the guitarist had RSI last year, and made some joke about having to learn another chord to give his
wrist a change of movement!

I heard status quo performing live a couple months back. I was at home at the time.
They were playing wicksteed park, kettering, and the sound was enough to travel 2 miles - not even line of sight!
I thought at first that it was a band practicing in someones house nearby, but they were all quo numbers. Found out in the local paper that it was the
real group. Paper said that the concert wasnt a massive sellout - about 3,000 open air audience.

Coo... 1st time I saw Quo was at Melbourn Village College (school) for 5/- (thats Five Shillings or 50p New Money) in about 1970/71.
It gets better, the second time I saw them It was FREE, last year when BT Booked the WHOLE of Alton Towers for a Staff party, for all of us with more
that 30 years service. Thats only 15,000 of us in BT. We took the family. Quo were a Blast, Madness were Great, and some bird called Gobby Rosalind
(never heard of her). Bloody Excellent day. The best thing the company has ever done for me.
The Park was full, and aboslutely superb music... What A Great Day. The Sun even shone for us!

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I saw them at the 'Woodville Halls' Gravesend , Kent in about 1970 , there was only about 8 people there!!
'cos their street cred was in tatters due to 'Pictures Of Matchstick Men' but they rocked.............
Then I too saw them for FREE this summer on Epsom downs...........

We saw them at Lincoln Castle at the end of August...
We were right at the front
Not as loud as Black Sabbath at the NEC though.
I was deaf for 5 days after that one...
Cock off or cock on. You choose.
