Hi!
Have you seen kitcar directs version of the gear? They have a hollow inside and the Diff and propshaft is Only sandwiched on like 5mm surface around
the gear. Why is it like that? Is it really safe? Worried that the bolts Will come loose

I drew a reverse gear for a friend for his T89 Design single seater.
The gear is 140mm in diameter and bolts to the front of a Sierra diff.
I think he was using a commodore starter motor - seems that there are different pitches for different starters.
Here is a (very big) jpg of what it looks like
The dxf is at http://hansonconsulting.co.nz/CCC/ReverseGear10pitch.dxf

The problem with mounting the reverse gear on the front of the diff is - in my car anyway - that the diff nose is just inside the drive tunnel, so
there is no room for the gear.
In my car I have designed a gear that will attach to the centre CV joint that I have in my driveshaft.
