Arrrgh its so annoying. My whole family is engineering based, i am IT based basically there is a healthy rivalry between, me, my dad, my uncle,
brother, cousins about who is smartest etc etc, i know i may not type like it due to my dyslexia (why do they make that so hard to spell) but really
am quite bright lol! I know if i bought the chassis i would never hear the end of it from them, my uncle has been known to machine parts for his boat
he couldn't find and my dad is regarded as one of the finest electron microscope engineers in the world and my cousin works for BAE... i always
get ribbed for being a g33k which i fully admit i am and like i have said i am pretty handy with a spanner but welding was never something i mastered
and all of them can, i could make them help me but again i would never hear the end of it..... To weld or not to weld that is the question!I mean can
i really own a kit and not know how to weld? It doesn't seem right somehow!

While building it, you may never hear the end of it But once built and scared the hell out of them in the finished car. They will never hear the
end of it and revenge will be sweet

If it's going to take you awhile to build the workshop why not go to evening classes and learn to weld? By the time you've finished the
work shop you'll be a reasonable welder.
