Joke

Husband and wife are at home and they are making dinner. The wife says to the husband...
"Can you go down to the beach and pick up some snails for dinner?"
The husband dutifully obliges, and takes a stroll down to the beach armed with an empty bucket to collect the snails.
When he gets to the beach he notices that there is a beautiful woman all alone sitting on the beach.
He wonders over and asks her if everything is OK?
It seems that she is depressed and very upset, so he starts chatting with her.
After a while they seem to be getting on very well, when she invites him back to her place.
Not wanting to be rude, the man agrees and one things leads to another and he ends up staying the night!
The next day, he remembers his wife and the meal, in a panic he gets dressed and rushes back to the beach to get his snails.
As he's walking home, he can't think how he's going to get out of this mess until eventually he finds himself walking up the driveway of his own house....
he can see his wife walking towards the front door.... with some brilliant quick thinking he throws the bucket full of snails on the drive and just as his wife opens the front door.. he shouts....

"Come on lads.....were nearly there!!!!"
