Modified Handbrake lever

Last weekend i decided to modify my hand brake lever. i did not want to cut the cylinder part - else i would have difficulty with buying custom lever shleves etc... so i decided to cut the main part up.

I was worried at the beginning but once all cut, it was very easy to modify. In the end, i cut out about 2.5 inches.

Good Job. I keep meaning to cut and shut mine but keep putting it off. Might have a go later

Great job there - considering doing this myself as the handbrake in the Supercat looks ridiculously long. I guess the plastic handle just pulls off then??

I used a handle off a Rover 200 and its shorter than the Sierra jobbie so no need to cut, has a better more compact mechanism and better connections to a modded Sierra handbrake cable.
