As you have observed, two completely different programmes.
Ones got three guys having fun in cars, the other has Vicky

Am I the only man who finds VBH repellant ?
I'd rather eat me own feet....

Which suddenly flips, pinning you underneath.
At night the ice-weasels come...

I thought she was a rug muncher? or is that just a rumour started by emancipated male drivers.

I'm more interested in the sort of thing 5th Gear does - but I wish they'd teach the cameraman the importance of a good tripod!
By the end of the program I feel sea-sick...
Oh - I didn't vote, 'cos I wanted a "neither, because they're both a waste of space" option!

I'd plump for Top Gear as the better entertainment program, with Fifth Gear more geared up for the consumer. However, Fifth Gear have Jonny
Smith who I just cannot watch - but someone must find him funny.
BUT, what I would love to see is the Stig vs Tiff vs Plato!!!
Today is a good day: I achieved new heights of ineptitude.

What are you suggesting about Syd...

I actually enjoyed a section on the last 5th Gear where they went Trialling in a Beetle. Was very real feeling as they'd had to lose most of
the youff camerawork and had a more Blair Witch thing going on from the dash. Most of the time it's pretty pants.
