Free graphics/photo editing software for MS VISTA

Can anyone reccomend free graphics/photo editing software for MS VISTA?

I would like to use Gimp but it does not say if it will work under Vista, anyone tried?

Any others ?

I have seen reports of problems with fonts when udsing the Gimp under Vista.

I don't if it is fixed yet but I know where you can ask The Gimp has at leat one news group

comp.graphics.apps.gimp

Anyway as the gimp is free it won't hurt to try it under Vista

For simple Photo correction try Google Picasa

Paint.net actually looks pretty good. I'll have a look at Picasa now.

Cheers

Dunno bout the "free" part, but I've been using Adobe Photoshop Elements, but only with XP.

PagePlus 11, from Serif, is specced to work with Vista, but haven't tried it 'cos I've only just migrated to XP.
