New in BEC
Hello everybody.
I post this just to say that I just bought an MK Indy recently, mostly for trackday use.
I have to admit that I am very exhited about it!
But I have no idea about BECs.
where I come from say that if you never try you will never learn! (I hope this make sence in English too)
I feel really unconfortable for my lack of knowledge and I have to say that I count on you guys for some help every now and then.
Thanks in advance guys and I hope to meet you all soon!!

I am aware that in english means plenty of weird things.
But actually is coming from a greek comic character and it is funny.

Welcome to the site.
As said, there has yet to be a question that this site can't find an answer to. so feel free to ask anything you like. I would advise trying to
use the search feature, as many of your questions have probably been asked before.
You say the cars mostly for track use? If so, you may want to look at getting rid of those big wheels and getting something in the 13"-15"
range, as they can be much lighter and the tyres are much more affordable too! A lot of the handling of these cars is down to how much unsprung weight
you have, as with such a light car losing 5 kgs a corner can make a marked difference and allow the suspension to do its job. Other wise, go forth and
enjoy! BECs are brilliant little toys and go like stink if you want them to!

Yes it is my first priority!
I think I will go for 15s propably compomotives.
At the moment my major problem is that I cant insure the car with my europian license so I need to exchange it with a full UK one, and this is taking
4 weeks!!
Unfortunatelly I didn't know that so now I have a new toy in my garage and now license to drive it!!

Can somebody tell me what year my fireblade engine is?
I cant find it on the papers I have.

You'll need the engine number which you'll find on the V5, or somewhere on the engine, possibly on the top of the gearbox case. With that
you can find out most things about the engine.
