Merlin..
Well Done mate!!
sounds daft but...........what do you do after you get you MAC, I have the MOT.
I won't be able to get down to the vro so I need as much detail as possible so I can pass it on to the friend who is going for me.
Many thanx

You hand it over with your forms, £25 registration fee and documents and they give you a registration number. I took my insurance and taxed it at the
same time or you will have to wait for a log book and tax it at the post office. You will need your mot then as the VRO keeps the MAC.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Beware - in Leeds they want to inspect the car. Just a formality in my experience (one car!) but takes time up. About 7 working days before they
gave me number.
Mark - I've sent you a U2U, with motre detail.

registering
Had to take my car to be inspected (bloke looked at car, said that's nice, and walked away again!! bloody waste of time if you ask me! It took 5
days from first visit to VRO Stanmore to getting my plates! I didn't get an option on road tax, had to buy it there and then but then what good
are plates without tax?! I will be putting up some notes generalising the SVA and registration issues that I encountered soon.

All sorted and on the road
I sent a mate to the VRO with the MAC, MOT and the engine number. She filled the form in with the help from the inspector, didn't need to see
it.
She got the plates made up and I was on the road as soon as I got home from work.
It's a good feeling to be on the road

Good news mate!!
Another on the road!!
I will probably be around the MK/locostbuilders area by 12 noon, as this seems to be a good meeting area.
I've u2u'd you with my mobile number. \This may be a better idea, coz sometimes you don't meet up with anyone and feel like a
right arse (hey, Steven?!)

bloody right!
gonna make sure that dont happen again!
At least I have some peoples phone numbers this time. I will be camping over, so I recon the best way to find the locost crowd in an emergency is to
follow the loudest noise in the camp in the evening
Alternatively, get to the MK stand - or whatever meeting area there is - at the right friggin time
