I used that same LED one but housed it in an E-marked larger black housing. £2.50 from a trailer and caravan suppliers. I removed the original bulb
holder and bonded the LED light in place.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I didn't think a number plate light needed to be E marked. There are no mandatory angles of visability, etc associated with it. I thought the
only requirements were that it is a white light and that the site of the registartion plate is illuminated (which means you can fit as many lamps as
necessary to do so) ooh and it should turn on and off with the side lights.

I'll check the other local shop tomorrow for you, the one I have is like the one in your ebay link. Postage and the price of the light would be
o.k. I only have one shining down on the number plate but you could mount one at either end both shining in. If you want I'll sort postage out
tomorrow and you can paypal me. There's another type
here

For the original 3 LED numberplate light listed,
You may find its cheeper or an equvalent price to buy a UV or blue light and 10 Superbright While LED's and swap them. You could probably get 2
for the same price and have some LED's spare.
I used 2 to fully illuminate the rear numberplate on the Tin-Top, looks good.

I got this one, send me your address in a U2U and I'll sort out the postage and get it off to you ASAP tks. That's a scan of the actual one,
£2.75 so it shouldn't be too bad with postage as it's light .
