Camping at Goodwood FoS
I have a friend coming over from Canada on a Europe visiting tour & he want to incorporate the Goodwood FoS, he's intending to use their
public transport - I believe they operate some sort of shuttle service from various points.
He'd got suitable accommodation booked in Chichester, but they've now cancelled - presumably cos they've realised it's FoS w/e
& can charge accordingly
I'd wondered if there is any pre pitched camping available, but a quick Google search produced only Goodwood's own site, which I didn't
even bother to look at pricing - I don't think Lord March really needs any more money!
I can't really help as he's coming in via the Chunnel & staying around the S.Coast, whereas I'm intending to meet him at FoS, but
will be coming in from the North side
Anyone got any local info or can think of any alternatives that would work - unfortunately, I'm sure no taxi service is likely to be of much use
as the roads are invariably blocked well b4 7am
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

When I went (admittedly in 2005) I stayed at the Chichester local university. They hire out rooms during the uni holidays. Basic, but very cheap with
slap up breakfast thrown in. Organized a taxi into Goodwood every morning, taxis' use dedicated roads so you miss most of the traffic congestion.
In the evening took the dedicated bus back to Chichester for pub supper and then taxi back to digs.
Worked really well for me. I just so happen to have the number of Chichester tourist office here - 01243 775 888. Not sure if it is still current.

You can do it quickly. You can do it cheap. You can do it right. – Pick any two.
