GKD Legend 6, part build
I'd like to sell my part build GKD Legend 6.
Kit was collected in 2011 and used donor is a 96 BMW E36 323i
Rough parts list of what would be included and / or optional:
- Full frame and suspension (including coilovers), mounted together
- Rollbar
- RHD steering rack, connected to wheels
- Diff and driveshafts
- Fuel tank
- All alu body panels (laser cut and drilled), not attached
- GRP nose cone, front wing and rear arches
- Donor steering column
- Donor engine / gearbox with ECU / wiring etc.
- Two GRP seats (unmounted)
- Other things I have forgotten
The car is a rolling chassis, engine is in. No cooling / fuel system / electrics in place.
I will put up some pictures once I find them. I expected them to be on my computer, but no luck so far, might be on the NAS instead. Otherwise
I'll make some new ones of current status. The car is in the Netherlands at the moment.
Reason for sale is mainly that our government makes it impractical to get the car registered. Environmental tax would exceed 15k which is stupid. So
I'd need to build it up either as Diesel or EV, both of which are not appealing. I already knew it was going to be tight in time when I started
the build, but the build of our own house (with garage) made it impossible and brexit made it even worse.
So sadly this one will need to go to make some space (also financial) for another project.
Feel free to ask questions while I'll get some pictures sorted.

Open to offers. Just looked at the receipts and I think there is about 7.5k in it. Not expecting that back of course and it depends on what part
someone might be interested in (with / without engine, seats...)
The engine had a bit irratic idle when I bought it which was resolved with new PCV valve. Engine has been smooth since (did run the car for a few
extra days to make sure the engine is sound). Waterpump and belt tensioner are new.
Clutch won't be very good. I do have a single mass flywheel with it from M20 engine. Gearbox was fine, diff has been checked and shows no
abnormal wear. I'll post up the contents of the start pack I purchased from GKD along with the additionals.

Well, that doesn't seem very readable, let me write it out.
Starter pack:
- Chassis + diff bracket, gear selector bracket, gearbox mount, VIN plate, keyfob
- Roll bar
- Upper and lower front and rear wishbones
- Front and rear uprights
- Steering rack mounts + track rod extensions
- Lower steering shaft
- Pedal box + balance bar
- Fuel tank
- Alu panel set (rear panel, flared front side panels, rear side panels, bonnet, floor, tunnel sides, tunnel tops, cockpit back, boot floor,
bulkhead)
- Nosecone
- Scuttle
- Front and rear cycle wings
- Cycle wing stays
Additionally ordered:
- Powder coating to chassis / wishbones etc.
- Propshaft + adapter
- Wiring loom
- Engine mounts
- Steering rack (RHD)
- Fully adjustable dampers & springs (front and rear)
- IVA pack (nut covers, shrouds etc.)
