Fitting a polo radiator. Help needed !
Hi all .I'm going to be fitting a new polo radiator but need to build a frame /brackets to fit it .has anybody got any pictures of how
they've fitted one .or any advice much appreciated .Cheers.

I don't have any pics but mine we just made from bits of thin angle steel and fastened to rivnuts in the chassis.
I don't remember it being too tricky to do.

If you are unaware,the rad has attachment lugs moulded into the end tanks. They will accept a short M6 setscrew, though in the original fitment
something nearer a short fat hex-headed self tapper is used. But do check for available depth.
As above, I used some steel angle....

Same here, there are self tap holes in the plastic ends,. although apply caution and check the depth

Suggest using 4 of those (m6) rubber bobbin/cotton-reel thingies to mount, so that:
- Vibration is minimized.
- Corrosion is minimized, if you manage to keep the core from being grounded.
