wtd: 100mm Sq ateel plate (6mm)

Hi there,

Before i go scavenging / buying some, does anyone have any lying around anywhere that they wont use?

Failing that, does anyone have anything like this lying around / that they can make me please? I'm happy to dig out the dividers and make one, but a laser / water cut one would be much quicker!

whats that flange for??
I have 3 8mm ( or was it 10mm thick) stainless steel flanges for a gsxr manifold which may suit.

Hello Omega,

Its for an exhaust flange from a turbo. Stainless would do, but would be harder to work!!

How much do you want for one of the pieces (unless they come as a 'three' pack?)? - (U2U me please bud.)

Richard.

Hello mate, Thanks for that. Rather than cut and shut, i was going to fashion one out of a single piece.

Thanks anyway tho.

Hi VS, it's for a garret T34 to replace the elbow.

I only have a sketch up drawing at the moment, as cad is on my old computer!!

Thanks for the offer. I'll try and get a dxf. How much would it cost?

i had a 6mm plate on mine at the turbo flange the heat from the exhaust kept warping it making it blow, welded on a 10mm one problem went away.

I got one waterjet cut by andyw7de at Waterjet Scotland Ltd http://www.waterjetscotland.co.uk/index.html

Good price, helpful and quick too.

I went with 10mm stainless owing to my concern that high pressure exhaust gas jets + fibreglass bodywork = inferno

There is a lot of heat in these turbo installs and a few 100grams of steel is a small price to pay.

Matt
