FS: 1997 'P' Skoda Felicia #500
Sister in law has just managed to get finance on an 09 plate Corsa (yuk) so her current tintop is up for sale.
Skoda Felicia 1.6, just shy of 73k on the clock. MOT'd to end Jan 2013, taxed to the end of this month.
First person to offer her in the region of #500 will probably have their arm bitten off. Really needs to go by this weekend due to space
constraints.
Mechanically it's sounds - only issues flagged on MOT (Jan this year) were
- noisy wheel bearing (replaced by me)
- perished CV boots (replaced by me)
- perished rubber covers on one TRE . I replace both TRE as the other one was also showing signs of wear; subsequent tracking done by local garage
Also had a fresh exhaust backbox installed a week after purchase.
Factory sunroof is a little leaky but a dry day and some sealant should see to that (she keeps forgetting to bring it round). There is, I believe, a
fresh rubber seal waiting to go on, also.
Cracking little car; very simple to work on and ideal first car. Insurace similar to / cheaper than a 1.0 Saxo when she was looking in Sept last year
