I was once following something similar but with scrap cars on it and as we came up to a roundabout he braked sharply and the car above the cab ended
up in front of him upside down on the road, I drove around it in fits of laughter as he had held me up for the last few miles, luckily there was not a
car in front of him when he stopped.

2nd day of training it took 10hrs after 4 weeks putting them on and off using different cars and vans from the ford fleet iv got it down to about 1
1/2 hrs to load and about 45 mins to unload.
The guy training loaded one and got the hight down to 15ft 10 in 30 mins,
so i think iv still got nsome more work to do the hard bit is when you have more than one delivery and and working out whitch way to load it so that
you dont have to keep putting cars on and off that gave me brain a hard time as not all cars can go on all the decks.

I can't help but feel that the "front" one over the drivers cab must cause a massive increase in fuel consumption due to the
windbrake effect and they'd be better off losing it. then again, I'm sure the bean counters have looked into it. Seems strange though.
Then again the front face of an artic isn't going to be that good in terms of air resistance...

I think aerodynamics is a bit of a lost case on one of these as a whole!

wages
i always think the potential off cosking up, losing some of your pay for a mishap on these tothe wages between this and driving a normal truck is not
worth the hassle. Op any info on this.
Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Is it a mobile multi storey car park?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

iv driven most things on wheels but not tankers, i dont think Fords will get in to that.
my wife says tankers are time bombs on wheels and i should not be trusted with one?

Bad thing is by law the vehicle height is displayed in sight of the driver so there's no excuse.
Why did work give you 10 fiestas?
