classic car show today - lotus 7
good day at the classic car and bike show today.
lots of very well turned out cars and very expensive cars.
Nice to see an original to which all others have been influenced by
(sorry for the crappy resolution - taken on my mobile phone)

very probably.
it is definitely not a crossflow as the inlet and exhaust manifolds are on the same side of the head

I agree as above, definately not crossflow and probally as said 1500 or 1600cc Cortina engine. But what a brilliant car.

I had a engine out of a lotus 7 many years ago it was a 1340 pre x flow

It was a 1500 cc engine.said it had 90 ish hp on the bumf with the car.

Saw this too. The Mrs' only comment was 'isn't it small!'
Interesting to see where this whole thing came from. Liked the front number plate too!

Sorry, but I think you will find you are absolutely (that is 100%) wrong.
Also, just because your picture is bigger doesn't make it better. That is the typical american misnomer.
The original seven captured pretty damn well by skydivepaul on his low-res phone is a completely perfect work of art.
