My alfa 156 Sw 2.0 Jts for sale
I am selling my alfa 156 2.0 Jts estate (station wagon)
Basics are
2002 (52) model with the interior facelift inc electronic climate control and revised clocks and interior trim, inc onboard computer and
multifunction steering wheel.
108K miles (this will go up as it is in daily use)
Full service history, easly days were dealer service, leter on were non dealer service
Its due its 108 K mile service now - local alfa specialist (WAD in wolves quoted £130 for it so its not a major one)
Bunch of MOTs etc to verify milage, complete owners handbook etc
upgraded BOSE sound system inc sub woofer in the boot (for thise bass junkies out there lol)
No electrical faults
no typicl alfa sticking thermostat issues
new timing belt and water pump and variator (standad job come belt time) done at 100K
Starts and drives well
Uses no oil
Full clean leather interior, it looks a lot lighter in the photos than it is, its almost primer grey in reality.
Good tyres all round with 5mm tread
MOT until Aug 2010
Tax will be removed or you can purchase at face value.
The bad bits
Knocks on the front suspension has been diagnosed as front ARB bushes, again local independand alfa specialist, quoted £85 + VAT to replace bushes.
Very LIGHT parking scrape on nearside front corner as per picture, scratch on the bumper and tiny almost unoticable dent on the very bottom part of
the wing, I have had to put an arrow to it as its hard to spot.
A couple of small dents on the roof from what i dont know! - cant get them to show up on a photo they are that minor.
The wing mirror cover on the drivers side is broken but i have another mirror here to replace it.
The rear mesh/neting dog guard has been chewed
Why am i selling it...........
Well it grieves me to cos it is a very nice looking car for an estate, i need an estate car and i bought this only a few weeks ago but i have come to
love the drive of a diesel, the lazy drive of a diesel is what i'm missing. If it was the 2.4 JDT model i would not be selling!
I thought i would be fine with the change of driving style but having had a TDi for the last 8 years i'm struggling with 'Driving' a
car!
Its a hoot to drive and goes very well, and handling for an estate is the best i have sampled but its just too much of a drivers car for my commute to
work and back.
Im after just £1850 ono for it as i want a quick sale so i can get my hands on a nasty oil burner again.
