RMD instruments / Racetechalternatives
Hi all,
Have fitted my V6 g'box, which has gone in nicely - only issue is the speedo output is now shrouded by a chassis tube due to the box having gone
back by 0.75 inch, making it a no go....
Am looking at taking the opportunity to redo my dash and fit an electronic speedo.
The RMD dials (i think made by revotec) appear really good vfm, but have read that they are not illuminated? - can anybody confirm and whether they
have been able to add illumination?
Also looking at the Racetech dials, has anybody used these (electronic speedo), initial investigation suggests the senders are all metric so would
need adaptors for my pinto.
Any other suggestions/sources appreciated.

all the RMD ones most definitely ARE illuminated, and they are made by these lot http://www.caigauge.com/ same folk that do smiths

Blake - that's great news, they definitely seem to be the best value, I was only put off by the illumination issue so if they are then
sorted!

Blake - that's great news, they definitely seem to be the best value, I was only put off by the illumination issue so if they are then sorted!

i bought them myself. theres a photo in my archive somewhere i think.
from what i remember (i've not installed them yet) they light up with conventional bulbs, so white round the outside and through the face, and
the LCD odometer bit lights up green. they look real good quality, and really cheap too
