Made me chuckle this morning...
... sitting in traffic on way to work this morning and I see this fluorescent yellow dot a way back in my rear view. Thinking it is a copper on a
bike, I pull over slightly so can let them pass on my right. As it gets closer, I think that's a bit small to be a pan. As it goes past, it IS
a copper but on a scooter with all the police stickers on everything. Dont know why but made me chuckle...
Anyone else seen any of these?

I think you mean the police traffic wardens or traffic PCSO's as they're now called. They have scooters all marked up.

dont think they were PCSO as they had police written on the back of their jacket, not Police Community Support Officer. May have been a police traffic
warden though.

Police traffic wardens were, in Manchester at least, reclassified to "traffic PCSO's". They got the PCSO powers (which amount to sod
all I can tell you!) and traffic warden powers.
Not sure what "community" they actually serve though?

Not seen one of them but in Leeds when they do the bank run they used to have a 900 Ninja in Grey and a cop with Police leathers tailing them. Pretty
cool.

I am currently working at Dorking nick and they have police bicycles which look real funny especially when being ridden!
