What boost pressure do these produce as standard? I mean the bog standard ones not the Cooper upgrades.

It depends on how fast you spin them
Bear in mind the Rootes type blower is relatively inefficient (even with PTFE blades and close tolerances) but has the advantage that it produces
power in a linear manner.
So going for crazy power increases isn't that sensible. If you're going to produce big power you might be better off with a Centrifugal
blower.
Then again you also have to bear in mind that the Mini S engine is a 1.6. If you supercharge a BEC the engine will likely be smaller, therefore giving
a higher boost for the same amount of supercharger rotation (and hence heat)... Then again, you also have to bear in mind other factors that determine
how much boost you'll get at a certain blower speed like cam profile, timing etc etc....

IIRC MINI superchargers are basically Eaton 45's with slightly different packaging.

i had one spining out 1 bar boost the pic of the charger is in my archive. it went very well but couldnt give me much up the revs so i changed to a
turbo.that was on a 1.6 low comp engine.

Quite right about the boost deliverance on an different engine. you cannot calculate anything in detail unless you know the total airflow of the
engine in the rev range.
you can however take the stock SC'd engines vallues, calculate NA out of that then calculate the NA power per cc of your engine and multiply that
by the power difference of the original NA vs Blown you'd get a pretty good figure of what will be happening. that's power difference.
for boost ratio take displacement vs pully sizes and cross multiply that with the to be set-up, aslo a rough figure but at least you'll have
somthing to work with
I plan to keep the original pulleys on both the engine and both compressors, that way the chargers will be running out of revs somewhere around
6800rpm (max rev for the cooperS M45 is 14.000 according to eaton)
You can however go way beyond that if the intercooling is good 15 should be doable and I know a few that do 17500rpm.
take into acount that the power up top may not be all that fancy compared to turbo's, but the torque from no revs at all is also very usefull if
you can get it down.
the mini crew are complaining a lot about the top end, but that's not a shortcomming of the M45 but a short comming in the intercooling
system.
go for it they're cheapas chips.
Just one thing make sure you have the piece of intake tract from the throttle valve to the supercharger entry, those are a nightmare to locate.

anywhere inbetween 350-450hp at the wheels. stock engine hardware all the way. charger pully's might be changed in time. but intercooling is key,
and laminova is very good at just that
