I have been playing with making a new upper intake for my 2.3l turbo ford. Original intake goes over the top of the engine with the 52 mm throtle
body overtop of the valve cover. This will save me about 4 inches in height fo the engine and less of a scoop. I wanted to go with full velocity
stacks but there was not really enough room to put them in as the ports to the lower intake are so close together so I copied the intakes on the v6
mercury outbard that has a six pack on it.
Very lowcost total dollar value of $11.00 cnd or 5 pounds. the stacks started as 2.5 ounce stainless sauce cups for $6.00.
Hopefully it will flow as well as the origanal intake if not at least it will be lower. When together it should easily hold 25# of boost eaisly.
