chrsgrain - 1/6/08 at 03:37 PM

Hi all,

Well, after nearly 3 years work - the Rush is finished - or as near as one of these cars ever gets to being finished!

Quick run out in the New Forest today was great - and managed to take some pictures....

Problem is - we need the space for the next project - so it will soon be for sale...

Many thanks to all the people on here who have been so helpful with everything, especially TriumphDave and NSDev.

your car looks incredible, really well built by the looks of things.

WHats the next project then?

chrsgrain - 1/6/08 at 03:57 PM

Next project is this..... a 1967 TR4A which needs rebuilding from the ground up...

tr4
tr4

Thought we would have the space and time for both, but its pretty apparent we won't.

Lovely work, cant imagine many looking neater than that.

sorry im no classic car wiz, what is it? and just a restoration job or customizing job?

neilj37 - 1/6/08 at 04:20 PM

i hope you didn't take an unregistered, un-taxed and uninsured car on the road ??

chrsgrain - 1/6/08 at 04:22 PM

^^^^ No - don't worry! Tax disc taken off for the pictures, and haven't bothered with a front number plate, as can't find anywhere easy to fix it!

Looks very good indeed mate.

Mr Whippy - 1/6/08 at 05:26 PM

may I ask what the colour is? I like it alot

sod the TR4, let it rust! your hanging on to the wrong car

chrsgrain - 1/6/08 at 05:32 PM

Its one of the Dax standard colours - burgundy...

As regards getting rid of the wrong one - its the making, not the driving that is the thing....

Looks nice, but i would add some spacers at the back, wheels are a wee bit in the arches

ozzieboy - 1/6/08 at 07:24 PM

Well what a lovely build it looks like the doggs under carriage! So how much money are you looking for $$$$$'s when you finally part with her?

Always been a fan of the Rush and that looks like a faultlessly built one. Good luck with the sale and the new project.
