Wood worm could be a problem for sva

if it is well designed, and I am not sure thatone is shold be no problem for SVA - SVA doesn;t stipulte what materials should be used providing they are appear to be strong enough?

and weren't Morgasn built on a wooden (ash) chassis?

No Morgans have an ash body frame on a steel chassis but the Original Marcos 1800 had a plywood structural chassis circa 1964 used aeronautical design techniques as per the Mosquito fighter bomber from WW2
