Custom Sticker/decal maker?
jamesbond007ltk - 20/12/06 at 01:18 PM

Ok, so I admit I have rather a lot of time on my hands. Signed off from work by the doctor for the last 3 weeks. Car is finished (and subsequently repaired after bits breaking) but weather is too cold for driving :-(

To minimise my bordem i have designed a bumper/rear panel sticker and i am wondering if anyone knows somewhere that would make some for me? Or if anyone knows some special 'paper' that can be used with a printer to make stickers.

It may be a little politically incorrect and i dont think the police would be too amused but hey! I am bored!

Am open to suggestions on changes or just deleting it!

Anyway..here it is.... Rescued attachment Think.gif

quite good

Make it a jpg file with good resolution and just use a digital photo booth (is that spelt right??)

Confused but excited. - 20/12/06 at 01:33 PM

There is a guy on Fleabay that does vinyl sticker up to huge sizes. ie the whole side of your car.

You can buy sticker "paper" in places like PC world - never used it though so don't know how durable it is, also I guess you need a laser printer rather than inkjet.

If you're back in Monmouth over Xmas, Chilli Pepper signs on the Wonastow Estate are supposed to be very good.

Cheers

If you use the inkjet sticky paper, you will have to laquer the stickers as they will smudge and will not be water resistant.

Otherwise you can get good results. Have a look on www.spreadshirt.net as well as t shirts they do vinyl stickers. Just upload your design as jpeg. Could get a t-shirt done while your at it!

I've used Si for loads of stuff. He should be able to do that easily for you, just look in his gallery at the sort of stuff he has done!
