Last week I saw a video of a large injection mould tool in China making car bumpers and rather than a robot to place the fixings inside prior to injecting there was space for two guys. They positioned half a dozen fixings in each cavity and the tool shut leaving a cavity for them to hide in!

Risky business.

I remember as a young lad living in Hong Kong. On the army base there was a bowling alley where the pins had to be reset manually so a chinese guy was paid around $5.00 hong kong dollars about 50p to stand at the back and reposition the pins you cant imaging the noise when he was hit by a flying pin, because the squadies didnt give him time to get out of the way

This is me (some years ago) on bosuns chair down the outside of the Nat West tower (600 odd feet). Getting in the chair is the scariest as no safety harnessess then, just lower yourself over and stand on the plank of wood....The good old days. Our steeplejacks would just walk around the top of industrial chimneys on the top flange 2" wide.
