We went to the topgear filming yesterday

Got there way early to make sure (12.00) even thou the studio doors don't open till 2pm

so while i was in the aerodrome had a wonder round, and noticed the stig driving a ford focus RS around with passengers (i think they were friends of the crew)

he was taking 3 at a time and at the end only had to passengers left, so he waved me over, so got 2 laps in the back was rather cool.

he drove it like a rally car! lots of lift off oversteer i even spoke to him, lid on of course

our show should go out this sunday but it's been put back for the snooker! so ours will be the end of series the 3rd jan

jeremy does like using the F word rather a lot!


The Stig

Nice one.
Was he a chatty chap.

Good word of advice there - if you do get tickets get their early. Me and a fairly large group of friends got tickets very early on in the first or second series, booked a half day off work (I would've taken the whole day but not everyone could and we were sharing cars etc) but got caught up in traffic. We were still very much on time but they'd already let as many people in as they could so we got turned away. Disappointed? Yes! Got offered more tickets for a future show but they still wouldn't guarantee entry - most of the group couldn't be bothered after wasting all that time on the first attempt.

Meh.

disapointed wasn't the word, security guard was nice enuff did feel sorry for him, as there was a long line of car tryiny to get in.

but yesterday made up for that with the stiggy

The stig was at my bosses mates wedding the other day. He just walked in then sat down and didnt move for 45 mins. Walked out and no one saw any more of him!!!

Was out doing some offroading with a chap who races bowler land rovers and got talking about the stig. He reckons the stig is an Audi test driver............anyone know for sure?

Original Black suited Stig was Perry McGrath. White Suited Stig is alegedly "mostly" Ben Collins but he does have stunt doubles IMHO

I was under the impression he was multiple people, and that some of the cars came with their own test drivers who'd be dressed as the stig. I honestly don't care who he is as it would ruin it to know for sure, to me he is a mystical character (Albeit played by anonymous actors).
