Nooo have a look if thats not the ugliest thing you have ever seen then best get to specsavers

mediabloke - 4/11/08 at 10:43 PM

Hmm... I'll grant you, I'm struggling to find a positive word. The only one that comes to mind is "different" - but "ugly" fits the bill much better.

If I wanted the road-racer look, I'd rather spend my cash on the Atom / Rev2, I'm afraid...

liam.mccaffrey - 4/11/08 at 10:44 PM

im sure its a great car and all but it looks like cutting edge kit from 1984

joneh - 4/11/08 at 10:45 PM

Urgh. That is ugly. Who would want to be seen in that?

BenB - 4/11/08 at 10:49 PM

If my dog was that ugly I'd shave it's butt and teach it to walk backwards.

MikeR - 4/11/08 at 10:50 PM

The back end is ok, but teh front end does not in any way match.

shame

nick205 - 4/11/08 at 11:19 PM

Had a good look at this in the flesh at Autosprt International earlier in the year. It didn't look any better then. The guy was very enthusiastic about it and seemed to talk purely about the handling and performance and skirt around the styling. It was fitted with an Astra VXR motor which must make it shift fairly well though.

When you look at what LCB members like AlanB, Steve Graber, Nitram38 etc have achieved it makes the it look a bit half baked

That sums it up nicely. It's a shame as the production values on the website are higher than most. However, it doesn't appear to be a kit and is probably 30k so hardly a direct comparison.

Now that made me laugh out loud!

stevebubs - 5/11/08 at 01:25 AM

Hey .. that's the thing shown on Top Gear where they slagged it off equally...

First thing that popped into my mind "CC Cyclone copy"

stevebubs - 5/11/08 at 01:27 AM

scratch that - the cyclone was better looking...

Humbug - 5/11/08 at 07:21 AM

Steve - I was about to say the same... if they developed the looks so it wasn't so boxy it would be a Cyclone!

ReMan - 5/11/08 at 07:49 AM

Looks well made , with the right bits in theory, just badly executed.
As said an origami Cyclone or Kamala

Mr Whippy - 5/11/08 at 08:39 AM

It's a tough call to which is the most hideous abomination...I can't really decide

That's quite freaky actually - it looks like the same car with 2 equally ill-fitting outfits

Mr Whippy - 5/11/08 at 09:15 AM

why is it a car from the 50's looks lightyears ahead of these model T jalopy horrors? I'd love to see the drag coefficients for those things? bet my wheelie bin scores better...

Its a shame they didnt buy the curves add-on for their software. Not an aesthetically pleasing creation but looks like it could have been easily made better. I guess its tough to get something that looks different, however gaz and the others mentioned above have certainly managed.

Now that totally explains it. Wasnt it the new Mini clubman that was designed on the same Cad system Mini Clubman - Patron saint and honorary member of the ugly car club

chrisg - 5/11/08 at 12:04 PM

I can't see a price list, how much is it?

Cheers

Chris

I think it was first said by Klinger (the transvestite) on M*A*S*H*

Triton - 5/11/08 at 12:35 PM

I like the KTM as it dares to be really different but the other thing is a bunch of kitcars all mixed up in one with a daft price tag

Triton - 5/11/08 at 12:36 PM

Just shy of 30 grand Chris..

chrisg - 5/11/08 at 12:54 PM

Jesus H christ!

You havce a choice this or that.

I know which I'd have!

Cheers

Chris

jimgiblett - 5/11/08 at 04:25 PM

A 348 are you serious. This is about as crap as Fezzas got (oh sorry I forgot about the Mondial)

For £30 large you can get a 355 which is soooo much better in every way.

it was an example of what's available for the same money, really.

I'd probably get an Ultima....

Cheers

Chris

alfasudsprint - 5/11/08 at 05:22 PM

You'd get a 360 for that, and the interior is much better than 355....apparantly
