Rolling at last!
ecosse - 26/5/08 at 06:50 PM

I've been making use of a rare day off and finally got it on it's wheels and rolled out of the garage, seems to have taken an age to get this far but I can now see some progress

Anyway, a couple of pics to prove it (to myself as much as anybody )

Cheers

is that a 442 chassis or just a +4

adam1985 - 26/5/08 at 06:55 PM

got mine rolling last week not got engine in yet though good feeling aint it being able push it around. its looking good

That looks nice and tidy, good to see a scratch build amongst the kits.

The revolutions on the front rock ! Pity you are missing them on the rear. I did try some but they fouled disc brakes on the rear

ecosse - 26/5/08 at 07:35 PM

The revolutions do rock
and I've got matching ones for the rear, but I'll either need to modify the calipers slightly (handbreak lever just touches) or fit some 10mm spacers.

Chassis is indeed 442

And it is good to be able to push it around, had the kids pushing with me sitting in it..LOL..

Cheers

Alex

sorry to sound ignorant, but what on earth is a 442 chassis or a +4?

eccsmk - 26/5/08 at 08:18 PM

liam.mccaffrey - 26/5/08 at 08:26 PM

book chassis is standard
+4 is 4" wider
+442 is 4" wider, 4" longer and 2" taller
