What do you think? Its made from iroko planks 100mm x 200mm in cross section and weighs over 100kg. Heavy, but not the full pinto. It should last a while. Rescued attachment bench small.JPG

I like it, it's got a nice Ikea-esque minimalistic look to it

You sure that's not a photo from an IKEA catalogue? Very nice, I want one.

Edit:Beat me to it.

And from scratch, not a kit...

Catpuss - 6/9/07 at 10:16 PM

Nice but I think you may need to cut out the center a bit of get over the prop shaft tunnel

Confused but excited. - 6/9/07 at 10:32 PM

Ah, a Norm Abrahams fan.

Smart51, very nice job mate, I like jungley woods, they have really wild grain. Where did you get the Iroko from in that size?

gezer - 6/9/07 at 10:46 PM

thats a Lovely job,

my council have started using iroko to stop the vandals destroying the softwood ones,
all 4x4 and 5x4 lasted two years so far on a street corner and still not got a mark on it,,

Very nice but the rear support looks a little "unsupported" at the top... perhaps a little triangulation in the event of a rear impact would help. Or extending the legs up a little.

Why? If you look carefully, you will find the fence behind it is part of the seat!!

nice.

OK OK OK but where does the petrol go in them.
Poor atempt at a Morgan replica I'd say.

Its joined using a variation on a mortice and tenon joint. I'd trust my weight on it.

Didn't they make ships from it

Very nice, btw.
