I'm trying to figure out a nice neat way to join my push pull cable to my paddle shifter. I've found some 'clevis mating pieces' online which would do the trick. They fit inside the small clevis joints you can buy from motorsports suppliers and ebay etc.

Can't you just make something out of a piece of aluminium, file it, drill and tap it?

Local chandlers or agricultural engineering supplier should stock them.
Also try Chandlery World on-line.

I used an M5 rose joint with exactly the same setup you are trying.

I had to spread the clevis slightly but it works.

Its a standard cable end for a 33C cable. M5 female thread, 6mm hole in lug end, cadmium plated steel.

i used a pair of these.

They allow you to detach the cable and are adjustable.

You could also try a trailer shop, these things are all over rods and bowden cables

if you have a m5 thread on thend of the cable the neatest way with minimal slop would be to use a threaded rod end on the end of the cable and put a bolt through the ball of the rod end into a bracket
