AIR COMPRESSOR 200 LTR NEW c/w WARRANTY | eBay

The description is a little vague;
VOLTS 240
and two line down
POWER 3PH 2200WATT
I think I would be asking exactly what electrical supply is required, unless you have a 3 phase supply.
Regards
Jon

I want to be able to spray with it, as well as using impact guns etc. I am told 200l is a good size, would you agree?

Ok so may be 200L is to big from me. See i dont know anything about pump and motor sizes vs tank size. What should i be looking for?
Ive had a clarke airmaster for nearly 20 years. 3hp motor,14cfm and 50 litre tank. It does all the jobs you list no probs.
I would run it off a 30amp supply cause the start up current on any single phase compressor can trip the fuse.
BURISCH Air compressor 2.5HP 50L Upright vertical 50 litre 220v | eBay
takes up less floor space and has TUV
50L + and 3hp is where you want to be. Mine is 100L and 3hp and the only thing it finds hard going is sand blasting.
Heres mine
Description
and it runs the sand blast cabinet aswell.
I wouldnt recomend clarke now though cos its all the same shite made in china with a different sticker and an inflated price from machine mart.
I have just bought one of these Burich compressors
BURISCH Air Compressor 3HP 90L Belt Drive Twin 14CFM Twin Cylinder | eBay
Arrived next day & I am delighted with the quality & performance
I needed a replacement for my tiny portable as I seldom find it worthwhile firing up the big boy that lives up in the shed
Looking at the similar Machine Mart offering they look to be almost identical as the Burisch but cost nearly double the money

two lines down does it not say 3HP 2200WATT? I would assume its a 3 HORSE POWER 2200 WATT
you can also see the 3 pin power plug in the picture

Hi, I got a 100L sealey 3hp compressor from this guy on ebay:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Recontooling-for-nearly-new-Sealey?_rdc=1
I got a red version of the black one he has listed which has a slightly higher output for around 190 delivered and its been great so far.
I've had a few things from him now and if your after something specific that isn't listed just drop him a message and he will see what he
can do. A really helpful bloke.

Critical Spec on Any compressor is the CFM at a specific pressure. No CFM rating = No Buy :-)
IMO you need 4/6 cfm at 90 psi for light (typical) DIY work and 17 to 23 CFM for ANY sandblasting cabinet..
Unless you want to be at it for the entire day.
Duty cycles etc are another real consideration But the CFM is foremost.
[Edited on 28/1/12 by Bare]
CFM is only a measurement of how much air a compressor will shift over a given period of time ( Cubic Feet per Min )
Might be able to shift a lot of air but CFM not a true indication of how well the compressor performs.
A true guide of a compressors ability is its FAD output ( Free Air Delivery )
Loads of manufacturers of non industrial compressors do not reveal the FAD output of their products.
All that aside, the Burisch compressor will provide enough air to power rattle guns, spray guns & the likes .
