I have the same ISO relays discussed in this topic.. However, after reading the
topic, I still have some questions. I plan of wiring a switched live.
In the pic below, you can see the printing on the side of the relay. The relay came with a loom as well. Is there a standard color scheme used for
wiring these things i.e. red is hot from fuse panel, black to earth, green from switch, white hot to device?
I put a JPEG in my photo folder.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated

This is a pic of the wiring loom that came with the relay:

If you look on the bottom of the relay next to the SPADE terminals you should see the numbers 86,85, 30,87 & 87A
As for colour codes - depends on the vehicle eg I think ford has brown as earth yet some of the french cars use brown as feed.
Connect the control signal to PIN 86 (Fan temp switch)
Connect to Earth (chassis) to Pin 85
Connect Feed from Fuse/Battery/ignition to Pin 30 (This is the supply to the Load)
Connect Load to Pin 87 (itme you want to turn on eg FAN)
If you want the load to be ON when the control is off then connect to PIN 87A instead of 87.
Hope this helps
