Once again my only comment for you Rich is;-
Quality!
keep it up that man!
cheers,
Steve.
Mmmm I want a pair of those to replace my Sierra calipers. I assume they are 4 pots? Did you have to mod the handbrake cables at all?
the cables are supplied for the calipers but i roughly cut them in half due to the length,( much lighter than the sierra cable)
rear discs are peugeot (fronts) with machined hub to move the caliper inboard slightly so will fit inside 13's
centre of driveshaft to outside edge of h/b lever is 5.75 inches

They would certainly look good under my 17s and give me a bit more braking which I need (middy setup) Why the Pug disc? Sierra one no good?
6 quid each from the factors and smaller o/d also i needed to create space for the 13's so peugeot pcd is the same but uses a smaller hub so the
caliper can move nearer to the driveshaft.
there the smallest 4 stud discs listed for a 106
BTW love the car and congrats on the magazine feature

I will definitely put a pair on my wish list, along with some vented discs.
Love your build - coming on nicely
Are those light weight wheel nuts Rich?
ahh the precious things from a local shop, are you local. could be and secure aswell
Hi Rich,
Looks a good job! What wheels are you using? I have done a similar thing with my Indy (winter mods) but using Sierra Calipers and Fiesta disks. I had
to use max offset to get the wheels under the arches, Im sure you have (cos your build looks like a lot of thought has gone into it!) but have you
checked?
Andy
Andy, the kit Richard is building has been designed to run 13" wheels with rear discs so no problem there. The Worx
pictured on my avatar also runs 13" wheels and rear discs (standard sierra discs and callipers).
cheers
Mark
Andy, the worx pictured in my avater runs stupid really heavy 15's with discs and next year it will have mini 2-pot wilwoods on the back (without
handbrake attachment etc!) - not that relevant but thought I would just add it!!!
cheers,
Steve.
Shows how much I know about Mac1 cars!
As I said looks great and well designed
Andy
Big Rich. Keep that car porn cumming!!!
Nice work. Where did you find the calipers? I am looking for some as we speak - to fit under 13" wheels.
the calipers are available from rally design in the uk but as wilwood are i think a us company i would presume they are available a bit nearer to
you.
we have had make various brackets and spacers and the clearences are very tight but it is do-able
ps i,m using compomotive CXR wheels in 13 by 7 inches ET 30 off set
and the finished artical

looks like you've got loads of clearance, can't wait to see if the 10" superslots fit!
Rich, are you using a bias valve with all that stopping power on the back ?
Looking good though, when you get it done I think I'll make a trip oop north to have a closer look
Lyn.
At the moment no but there is always an option to fit one if need be.
Although there 4 pots the pistons are quite a bit smaller than the front wilwoods, so i,m hopeing that a valve is not needed but i suppose a few
emergency stops will reveal if one is needed or not.
you don't need an invite Lyn your always welcome mate anytime
Rich
Cheers Rich
