Anyone out there know who does centre mirrors on a pod. The one that mounts on the scuttle. David

Have you tryed a search it was discussed very recently.
i have a racetech carbon fibre one (v expensive but needed in a hurry) others have used every day car ones mounted upside down.

i havent really looked around, but the mirror im after is one from darren from GTS tuning. its under carbon mirrors, part no GTS1001, and is £42.95.
im not sure how much others are - havent really shopped around yey.

Used one from an escort(No angled ends.)Cut and filed the stem.Taped M6 and fitted bar.Bolt welded on bar.Sorted. Rescued attachment Sreen1001.jpg

This is part of the bumper reinforcement from an Audi S4, the air con pipes from a passat and the mirror head from a Golf IV, all ally welded together Rescued attachment Mirror.JPG

I made a similar one - a triangle of ali plate, 6" or so of ali rod, and the business end of a Sierra internal mirror. Dead easy, mostly done with a drill press, hacksaw and file (but the drill press bit could be done with an ordinary electric drill, if you're careful.
If you're interested I'll post a piccy (but it's not a lot different than Mark's).
The metal came from a scrap box, the mirror cost me £2 in a scrappy, plus the cost of some etch primer and a can of satin black. A lot cheaper than £100, and I think it looks very respectable!
