Well, aren't they a bunch of rude fellows?
I wonder how many 'engineers' are on that forum? Seems a bit crude even for 'fitters'.
How coincedental was the reply with a picture of a JCB under it? SPOOKY

escort_innit - 24/2/07 at 09:38 PM

What an excellent site! anything mocking chavved cars is good. I think a better name might be vomitonthebonnet.com though...

macnab - 25/2/07 at 12:48 AM

[Edited on 25/2/07 by macnab]

I believe you actually won SOTY (Shed of the Year). And to achieve this accolade so early in 2007.....................

Phil

macnab - 25/2/07 at 01:25 PM

Do I get a price?

How disappointed will they be to find that the cars back to standard already?! Lets hear it for vinyl stickers and bolt on parts

They have a good idea, but most of the people on the site seem to be full of crap, and very uptight about any comments you make. I was a member but got fed up with getting told to feck off every 10 minutes, the swearing and abuse is very off putting and irritating IMO.

David

macnab - 26/2/07 at 10:52 AM

All I can say is what’s wrong in making your car different?

Are we all really supposed to drive cars that are styled by popular vote?

Especially when the people who are voting are obviously such retards.

I mean really how thick is this guy? has he even heard of a drill?? did it not even enter his head that maybe the brackets had been fitted to the top...

Peteff - 26/2/07 at 05:52 PM

What kind of ballsucking rim job actually writes cockmunching spacktard? Someone who can't think of an original insult. You fit your spoilers wherever you feel like Mac, hell I would fit one inside the car and send them a picture to wind them up. Bolt some hi-fi speakers to the bonnet as well while you're at it.

omega 24 v6 - 26/2/07 at 07:30 PM

I reckon a photoshop jobbie with a bonnet mascot of a barryboy getting fut bucked would just about do the job.

Confused but excited. - 26/2/07 at 11:32 PM

And stickers: 'BarryBoys take it up the exhaust!'

G.Man - 27/2/07 at 05:52 AM

Most of the guys on BB are cockmunchers themselves...

Keyboard warriors with no sense of forum etiquette..

The site is completely unwieldy with some threads about 200 pages long, then they berate you if you repost rather than wade thru 200 pages of their inane insults.

They are the human equivalent of the cars they slag off...

Flak Monkey you dont do subtle do you

flak monkey - 28/2/07 at 11:01 AM

Whats subtle mean?

I like an argument I left BB a while ago because I was fed up with their lack of reasoning - I agree, most of the cars on there really are terrible, but some of the comments and general forum demenour (sp?) are shocking. Though I would dig the old log in back up again for a bit of BB baiting...

Yer the reaction of some of the people is really out of order especially when Macnab was good enough to go over and try and explain and all they did was take the p**s.

As for BB baiting, its quite amusing isnt it but not exactly very sporting, its like fishing with dynamite

Peteff - 28/2/07 at 01:25 PM

I bet sum of their dads have got fast cars as well.

flak monkey - 28/2/07 at 01:31 PM

Just you wait until you all read the last comment:

quote:

Anyway, we all know Caterham are the main player in Lotus 7 replicas, most of the others are shonky meccano death traps for the bodger on a budget.

DarrenW - 28/2/07 at 01:39 PM

That pretty much sums that site up doesnt it!!!!!!!

Who dares put that link up on blatchat???????? Then again, best not. Its better to distance yourself from morons like that.

Duncan_P - 28/2/07 at 01:40 PM

Its obviously designed just to get a reaction. I was going to reply but then thought that it was a bit pointless

Although the bods at Caterham might a be a little put out to here there cars described as seven replicas

ayoungman - 28/2/07 at 06:32 PM

Quote: At least the racing stripes (?) are centered. That front spoiler is just pure comedy. There isn't a smilie that conveys my feelings at this point so I'll just use this one: Pretty good workmanship though methinks.

There you go, good locost building skills shine through even to invertibrates like that !

G.Man - 28/2/07 at 09:15 PM

I only ever read the barrybird bappage thread these days, but couldnt let them get away with slating one of the best sportscars around...

Total tossahs... most of em would back a 7 into the first armco if they ever tracked one

jamesbond007ltk - 1/3/07 at 12:03 AM

Talking of subtle. A selection of some of my favourite quotes from the BB thread:
Including extracts from FlakMonkey, and from someone from Cyprus? ooh the mystery! lol!

FlakMonkey:
If you think an M3 is quick, you aint ever been in a real sports car that handles properly...

BB:
Which bit of 0-60 in under 5 seconds isn't quick?

(wow! under 5 seconds! my pinto isnt much slower than that!)

FlakMonkey:
Ooooh so intelligent! (insert smiley having a wank!)

Two words, off and fuck.

Galifrey from Nicosia – Cyprus (wonder who that could be? Hmmm…):

Chocky, just ignore him, he is obviously a total cock smoker with no idea about kit cars...

Anyone who thinks these cars are toys is a bleeping retard...

PS for the bleeping retard who names himself chopper, Catrham are not lotus 7 replicas, they sell lotus 7's under a caterham badge..

Fucktard

... jeez iq's are low on this site

A BB talking about kitcars:
IF they are so damn good I'l rephrase the question. How come they represent only 0.000001%* of the cars on the road on any given day? If they were THAT good we'd all be driving them, no?

quote:

G.Man - 1/3/07 at 06:28 AM

They will start with their usual trick soon and register here to start slagging us off...

Makes them feel more manly

Anyway, I will leave them too it now, the "bringing a fat to a poo fight" was just crazy, some attempt at a witty take on "knife at a gunfight" but of course, every good war gets a good poo throwing contest doesnt it..

flak monkey - 1/3/07 at 09:12 AM

They took the bait and swallowed it whole. That was fun

Now lets try somethign else...reasoning. Something tells me it just wont work

[Edited on 1/3/07 by flak monkey]

Fred W B - 1/3/07 at 10:53 AM

So let me understand this.....

That site exists just so that people can post pictures of cars they consider silly, and say rude things about them. Meanwhile, they have a section where they post pictures of their own cars, but the threads are locked, so other people can't say anything to them....???

FFS, get a life.

Cheers

You got it down to a tee Its great fun to wind them up, and very easy.

greggors84 - 1/3/07 at 01:52 PM

The weirdest thing I found about the site is how almost all of their signatures on their posts are quoting someone else from the site.

Thought it was very odd!

Thats because they have no imagination...

flak monkey - 1/3/07 at 09:50 PM

LMAO that its still going For some reason they dont seem to be able to see into the reasoning in posts, quite odd that. Like they only read what they want to read...hmmmm *ponders*

G.Man - 1/3/07 at 09:52 PM

I know, I am enjoying it... they just keep coming up with new insults that are easily batted aside...

Anyway, I am off to bed now, work tomorrow.. now, MNR or Subaru????

Lets check the weather forecast tomorrow

G.Man - 2/3/07 at 07:47 AM

Wow they gave me my own forum called twat twat twat..

LMAO...

I think the cock-munching spacktards have locked the thread, I need to log on to view it.

flak monkey - 2/3/07 at 01:05 PM

Its not been locked, its still active. Just seems they have restricted access to it to members only, so no one else from here can read the amusement without joining...

Do you want to copy it over then Flak, to save me from joining such an astute club?

flak monkey - 2/3/07 at 01:16 PM

its up to 21 pages now...

Argument seems to be over now... I was rather enjoying reading it too

Mr Whippy - 2/3/07 at 01:36 PM

its a pity you can't read it cos that sh%t stirrer macnab has just posted this, he should be shot for causing so much trouble!!!

quote:

This is quite a long thread now, cool

I like mini's had a shot of a 1300 after I welded up his floor. Very fast and I'd love a shot of a bike powered one...

Not to keen on the MX5 though as its more of a girl’s car and all the blokes I know with them wear pink shirts at work so I think they're closet gays...though I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that mind. I've even been in their cars (not for any funny stuff) and found the car a bit wobbly over bumps and the dash seems to shake a lot, though my Falcon does that and I know its a strong car.

Anyway I rambling again...Do I get a price for winning 'Shed of the Year'? Perhaps a shed as my old one is coming apart and the roof felt has disappeared! I know it’s early in the year for prize giving but I am quite happy to mod the car further if it means a new shed.

Oh yeah could you please unlock this thread as now as it seems people have to log in to view it. Ta.

How is everyone anyway? Having fun? Just been out for a drive at lunchtime in the sun, very nice.

They ignored that and started bitching about pics of my car now...

Not mmy fault they disable the edit function and I cant delete the pic from the post

Mr Whippy - 2/3/07 at 02:40 PM

Sounds like they are very touchy about comments on their own cars, hypocrites

Simply log in as a new member take a copy from the gallery of their car, post it on the thread and start slagging it off for no reason. Then watch them go crazy!!

Not even close to SOTY though; take a look at the Scrote Cabby on the front page; that's what you need to do, and even then it will only be a fucked over Taxi, so nobody will care.

That is my car dummy, for F%^Ks sake pay attention!!!

I have won and thats that, now go and buy me a new shed or I'll bolt my dogs kennel to the roof

The barry boys arent that clever at locking the forum down. Ive just got this by doing a search.

http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25358&highlight=bluebird

Mr Whippy - 2/3/07 at 04:02 PM

oh dear macnab's obviously had a bad day at work

I'm sure he didn't mean anyone on here's car

quote:

poor nissan???, get real its a 17 year old jap cortina copy that belongs in a museum, I couldn't care less if it went up in flames tomorrow. In MOP I did the car a favor and at least I can find it in the carpark. I'd could replace it with a better car for £200, indeed my other one cost £150 and I repainted that with a brush.

What amazed me was that people on here didn't understand that it was a take on all the sad with the plastic bodykits etc etc and who keep trying to race it.

It’s looked like that for almost 6 months and had its picture taken at least 5 times and I’ve driven past the bully bashers hang out Christ knows how many time so how it took so long to get on here I don’t now. I have looked now at the cars owned by the most frequent poster on this thread and I have to say their cars are all a bit too dull for me, I’ve never been much of a Audi or golf fan as their very plain, even worse than the bloody bluebirds and like I said the MX5’s are girls cars, Fords well I’ve had a few, shoddy things they are and built to a budget and I’m forever welding new sills on them for folk.

Anyway time to go home, have a nice weekend

G.Man - 2/3/07 at 06:48 PM

Some TVR owner named flintstone, presumeably because thats his motove power for his car, is trying to pretend tvr's are reliable now...

JoelP - 2/3/07 at 10:12 PM

all web based emails are banned too... HTF are we supposed to see the rest of the thread?!

oadamo - 3/3/07 at 08:13 AM

ive just seen this post i didnt even no there was a site like that on the net i no theres a lot of cars over the top but how has the right to slag someone off over it.

flak monkey - 4/3/07 at 10:52 PM

Looks like the fun is over

G.Man - 5/3/07 at 04:09 PM

Mr Whippy - 5/3/07 at 09:23 PM

Na don't bother it’s just a pish site.

Yeah they've had enough, turned out they hadn't a clue about cars at all and just started fighting amongst themselves, then asked for the thread to be locked when they gave up. I think the last thing they were expecting was 'macnab' to demand that his car be nominated for shed of the year, kind of took the point out their slagging.

Clever fellow that 'macnab' bet them at their own game, he he he.

It was interesting 'apparently' how quickly pictures from this site appeared on theirs...wonder how that happened, hmmm???

Maybe that’s why he ‘left’, so as to read the reply’s and see who it was. Surely though he’s not that sneaky?

greggors84 - 5/3/07 at 10:56 PM

Well if he did just 'leave' and came back, im sure we could spot him easily enough just by the massive daily post count!

Mr Whippy - 6/3/07 at 01:24 AM

not if he's really busy at work
