We are all DOOMED! (again)
coozer - 29/6/09 at 09:35 PM

And there we are all fending off swine flu but before we can blink theres something else..

Its to HOT! Bloody hell, 33 degree's and counting in Britain...

But wait, I live in England, its NEVER going to break 33 here and thats why I'll be off to Spain in August to bask in it..

Its the one warning I yearn... how will we cope, I hear them shout, our lives will be ruined they say....

Wonder how Spain, south America, Australia and all the countless other countries around the equator cope.

Doomed I say, we are the maddest country for open top cars and pissing rain

See ya's in Oban this weekend

blakep82 - 29/6/09 at 09:39 PM

theconrodkid - 29/6/09 at 09:42 PM

the air and water temp of my care were showing 33 deg today, that was in the garage before i started her up (only to find the alternator bracket had broken again)

It's the humidity that is killing UK.

I am used to the 38+ as I come from Greece but your 30 is even worst than that.

tomblyth - 29/6/09 at 09:54 PM

the problem with this global warming is that moskitos and therefore maleria will become a problem!

Andi - 29/6/09 at 10:08 PM

I can see the cheesy headlines already

"Phew! What a scorcher"

"Burglers target open windows"

and not forgetting.
"Hosepipe ban! its official! the lowest water levels since records began. Specialist air surveillance units to patrol the suburbs to catch out wayward waterers"

Woaw Woaw - What HEAT WAVE ?

I heard this on the 10 News Last night and laughted out loud!

We had an alright day yesterday but there was no was it was 30 more like 18. Didn;t even need to consider breaking out the shorts.

What planet do these Newcasters and Weather men live on. Heat wave ! HA!.

That sort of BS reporting really pisses me off. Again Scaremongering !

You're in scotland, of course it was cold! It got to about 25 in Leeds according to the van.

Hot countries like spain don't work during the hottest point of the day and have a siesta. Whereas I'll be spending most of the day in a loft full of insulation doing a rewire.

Arse!

If the weather makes a headline on the BBC national news it's usually because it is happening in London!

Well according to the Daily Star (I don't buy it, it was sat there in work) we should expect 50!

I literally laughed at that for a good 10 mins. Was 29 degrees in our bedroom last night. Had the radio dj complaining about how he can't breathe, "Good!" I texted in "It's called summer get over it, we haven't had one since 2004!"

I worry about the old people, cos if it goes below 5 degrees they all die, and if it goes over 20 they all die too. I'm surprised we have anyone over 60 in the country!
