After my winter strip down its time to start putting things back together (I really hope it still works).
I'm just wondering what posh looking fixings people are using for securing the dash and tunnel tops etc.
I'm leaning towards just standard black dome top allen bolts with black washers, but I'm open to other suggestions.
Cheers
Plenty of trim sets on ebay.
Anodised and alike. Best key word is 'dress up bolts'
I'll check them out, cheers
Stainless flanged button heads...
I would choose stainless non coloured. Anodised stuff scratches after a couple of uses and will then rust once wet.
I used hidden bolts for the dash and drop over panels for the tunnel.

Mine were fitted with stainless dome head Allen bolts (M4 IIRC). Passed SVA fine and IMHO looked good.

A lot of motorbike dealers sell fancy anodised Aluminium nuts and bolts (for motorbike fairings etc.). They're not usually that cheap, but they light weight and look very nice. I have a few on my bicycles in non load bearing positions (yes, for weight saving).
Not Probolt, but I also have some Titanium M4 socket caps on my bikes (water bottle cages). They're incredibly light, but you wouldn't know they're Titanium by just looking at them.
