Picked up this hydraulic brake light switch and t-piece up for a few pounds at an auto jumble.
The Brake switch has a flat (rather than tapered end)
the t-piece also has one inlet with a flat bottom.
Logic tells me that I should use a copper washer or simlar to ensure this setup seals correctly ??
incidently the switch descriptions says:
XBLS 8. BRAKE
Rover P6 63 / 77
Talbot; hunter, imp, husky, minx-s, snipe, sceptre, rapier, hawk, vogue, gazelle
some old stuff there alright !!!

I think what you will have to watch is it will be the old style thread not metric so you will need some old ends off the likes of early mini pipe
work. am i right or wrong folks.
I paid £4 for a new metric one off a vw golf
Tony
yup golf is the way 2 go unless you want to mix threads
When I saw the thread title, I thought Scotland yard had introduced shower facilities for their workers!
Yes, you will need a copper washer with that fitment. I know you've bought it now, but I'd do what the others have done, and nab one off a
passing Golf.
