When I stripped my Sierra I forgot to remove the steering column bracket, does anybody have details of how theirs is mounted? Pics would be great.

Not to be out done, here's my attempt, again it does not mean its correct, welded nuts into the tube and washers to spread the load.
I sat in the car and held the wheel where I wanted it to determin the hieght distance from driver.

You've only got the column inner from an adjustable column there, looks like a trip to the scrapyard for you .

Inner and outer are only pennies from Ford
If you can find a piece of tube the right size for the nylon bush to push into you can use that. Robin Hood do a bearing and a plate ready cut to fit it into, drill it and bolt it on or weld it into place. Plate and Bush kit and put a jubilee clip round the triangular bit to stop them riding up the column.
Pete, that looks a very good idea. Is that what you have done? if so can I see a pic or sketch please to see what to do?
