Is it possible to get rid of enough bump steer without shortening the steering rack? - it's a book chassis, Cortina uprights and escort rack.
I moved the rack higher during the build to try to get rid of as much as possible, but it's still horrrible to drive.
I found THIS a well written article...
Excuse the crude diagram, the answer is yes in theory if you can get the rack high enough, but then the steering arms are at funny angles and you get
other issues. its just a compromise without shortening.
