Thought the BEC boys and girls might like this, as some of you will know we do a lot of work for the Rage buggy lads. Just had a call from them to say they have just tested the tweaked CBR1000rr unit -
0 to 60 is 2.4 seconds
Its on youtube but I am not good with linking these things search under rage buggy 0 to 60 and dont blink

You can't use the etb dash as it's no way near accurate enough.

Very impressive if they've managed it - must say that didn't look like 60 in the video though!

Trouble is with these things on a full bore start is it's hard to eliminate wheelspin - this is what happens if I try too hard even with R888's

if its still road legal could it take the record off the ultima gtr? thats around the 2.4/2.3 mark i think

Have to say that it didn't look like it was traveling at 60mph (although there's a fair chance the back wheels were turning at that speed!).

Now i've seen the video... I also dont think that was 60mph, the speedo jumped from 30 to 60 in no time.. 0-60 looked realistic but not 30-60

don't look genuine to me would want proper gps data to confirm the times tbh
