I've been reading threads on suspension set up and have a caouple of questions

Firstly, rear wheels o.5 deg negative camber which I take it means the top pf the wheel is further in than the bottom. How do you measure 0.5 deg without loads of expensive accurate gear?

Secondly toe in on rear wheels, how do you adjust the toe in as apart from the adjuster on the top rear whishbone (for camber?) I don't see how you adjust toe in.

Any insights please?

The first thing to bear in mind is that you will need a very flat and level floor to allow you to measure these settings to any accuracy.

Using a large set square sat on the floor perpendicular to the wheel rim you can then measure the distance between the upright of the set square at the top and bottom of the wheel rim. Using the the two measurements and some trigonometry you can work out the angle of camber and then adjust it via the top wishbone to get what you want.

Toe in/out can be measured using chalk marks on the floor and tyre and measring bewteen them in a similar way. The rear toe on an Indy can be altered by packing washers between the hub and upright to achieve the desired setting.

Things to bear in mind include accurate corner weigh setting and ride height setting before making castor, camber and toe measurements and adjustments.
