First drive after the winter mods went well.
first mod was a small brace welded in to tie the top of the bulkheads together just above the prop area.
second mod compomotive cxr wheels 6 inch front 185 wide 7 inch rear 205 wide with yoko a048 tyres
third mod a front splitter made from 6mm ish ply varnished then wrapped in 3m carbon vinyl that extends back to the front of the engine
third mod was a side impact/intrusion bar bolt on style from the rear roll over bar down to the chassis near the scuttle, satin black paint matches
well with the powder coat of the chassis and an orange locost builders vinyl
pics to follow
Looks good
Don't love your passengers then? (assuing you carry any )
Looks good - was it much of a job to fit the side bar?
Very nice.
Like the side impact bar ;-)
Rich
maybe i should make a sign 'passengers enter at own risk'
side bar was easy lenth of tube bent at about 110 degrees then i welded a rollcage saddle clamp from ebay on, the correct size for the rear hoop
then welded a piece of tube for the front part, filled all the welded joints for a smooth look then primed and painted
Any more pictures fvhe front splitter
Unfortunately I have been a passenger and entering that vehicle is certainly at your own risk
Looking very very nice in deed
I too fitted my front aero-splitter today after your glowing recommendation of how good they are...
Can't link to exact post, but its at the bottom of my build page:

Would like your feedback, or if I've missed a trick somewhere
Take care, would love to see more pics...

liking those CXR's, I want a set please...
Looking good mate..
It's hard to say if the splitter actualy works but with the above mods the car feels dead planted at 130mph not light and floaty like most people say at high speeds
