Thanks mate, nice build by the way.

About Avoneer's cage - I am concerned that the front verticals appear to be welded to the two longerons - and that's it. Personally I'd be happier to see a piece of heavy wall tubing connecting the two verticals. I'd think that it could tear free of the Longerons pretty easily

Hi if serious about putting a rollcage in you should be looking at cars with MSA/FIA certificated cages on them.

As an awfull lot of other cages out there are of little use in an accident at all and are more likley to cause harm rather than protection durring an accident.

cheers matt

I would be getting one done by a local firm who make roll cages so it should be mucho safe.

Yep - mine is more for asthetics, but should do slightly more than a single hoop at the back if I ever roll it.

this is a 442 chassis .

pay no attention to the actual material its made out of .

the front feet go down to meet the floor and the bar running across the floor .

I like the cages as they do look really strong but i want mine to be more swept back like the striker pic. I know i will be a pig to get out of !
