Its a bit early I know, but, the April meeting will be on the second Sunday of the month, that is the 10th April at Newlands Corner.

Looks like the old motor has had enough ,I thought I would be able to nurse it to Newlands before ripping it apart on Monday, but it's pumping out toooo much oil now.

So I won't be out to play on Sunday morning ,i'm v. dissappointed but what can you do?

i told you those bike carbs where too powerful for my aged CVH...

ned, i used to be able to see newlands from mine. Lived on star hill in woking.
Moved though....

well that was fun,nice to see some new faces and meet Alan b, 10 cars turned up and the sun came out

They need to employ an ugly bird to serve the food and drinks at newlands,i had my monthly quota of coffee in 2 hrs

Did everyone get home with out incident?
I managed to break my speedo cable and my mate broke his front wing stay.

Thanks Jam-Jah for the nice comments.....but it didn't cost as much as you think.....honestly! just lots and lots of cleaning of parts. The webers were in a right state when they were donated, the engine/gearbox from the '78 donor etc, etc. just loads of time with cleaning
Pictures soon in my archive, and perhaps a couple in a new thread. Some didnt come out too well, sommat to do with the sun in the lens!.........
Took Alan and Jen for Sunday lunch down by the Thames, and they are now on their way back to Preston.
Again, great to see so many cars and faces.

Great to meet everyone including the AlanB and Jen and the New Forest Massive.
Bit of inspiration to get my arse moving with the car again.

Did anybody else 'catch the sun' a little? My face is still pink now. Maybe it was the two hours kickboxing outside afterwards that did it though!

You never know- by 2010 you might see my car up there!

One side of my face is a little tender. I think it was driving home that did it. Mixture of wind and sun. And that was in the tartsmobile. (not my favourite car at the moment!)
