matt_gsxr - 10/8/12 at 10:18 PM

£20 sounds about right for an old 2CV

slingshot2000 - 10/8/12 at 11:48 PM

T66 - 11/8/12 at 11:17 AM

Im with you Mook - I passed loads through the week on the M1. Tedious motoring but they are great cars

Nickp - 11/8/12 at 11:39 AM

That'll be why I've just seen a DS convertible going up the A1 then

jabs - 11/8/12 at 01:18 PM

WOW!!! just noticed a 4 day ticket for event car and driver is £120 WOW again!!!

britishtrident - 11/8/12 at 01:33 PM

Comes close to my idea of hell.

Tickets cost more than the value of the cars even if they have a full tank of fuel.

Me too!

That blue Ami is lovely! No sign of any GSs though. .

IMHO the best small car ever!

mookaloid - 11/8/12 at 02:12 PM

I probably wouldn't want to own one myself but I do appreciate a well looked after car whatever the make.

I think it would be quite an impressive sight to see 1896 vehicles all one make in one place at once though - maybe tomorrow

skippad - 11/8/12 at 04:16 PM

They have really got it sussed these shows...
£120 you have to pay to show YOUR car (owners cars ARE the show)
Then the punters have to pay £20 to look at your cars...
What a money maker!
overheads, hardly any (money collectors, tickets, stewarts)
Cars in the Park is the same scam....

The DS convertable if an original is a 6 figure car, I know one that has changed hands for 170k. The very good condition DS go for 10k to 15k shabby for 5k.
