But are they worth £695?
Can't be that much ally / bending in them?
Mike
will only lift 500mm max, Id rather use a good jack and huge axle stands, at least the wheels are free and you have better access.
There's very little to get at under most of these cars... drain plugs; the occasional grease nipple maybe Not worth it IMHO.
Thinking about it, I could get a single axle trailer for that sort of money!

I have been thinking about the display stands they have in some car lots, they look like you drive up until they tip over then the ramps formed the
stand at the rear. These look like you get about 4 feet under the car. Anyone know where you can get them?

The 'Showroom' ramps look cool but where do you store them? OK if you have a four car garage.
I'm with 'dilley' on this one.
For 695GBP you could probably buy a used hoist/lift from a shop. That would nearly buy you a new one here in fact.
A guy at work has been looking at these sorts of things and has purchased somthing similar. He has classics and had looked at used and new 2 and 4
post lifts, but found that most lifts are nearly 4m wide and 2.9m tall. Thats one and a half car widths, and taller than most garage ceilings. The
other problem he faced was the cills on classics are not ideal for using as lifting points.
You may also want to check, but most of the vehicle display ramps come with a warning about not allowing people under the ramps - look at them from
the front, and theyre not that wide.

I built these. They break down (unbolt) but still take up some room.
You will also need a decent jacking beam across the gap so you can jack up the car on the ramps to work on the hubs etc with the wheels off etc.
So this is what it all looks like:

Well the Viento Fits just fine.
The Viento Fits!

He aint heavy, He's My Viento
Another Commercial supplier:
Linky: See Also the 12ft System on here starting at £795.
I strongly reccomend putting some lateral triangulation on that, especially if you're planning to get underneath it.
At the moment it looks like a good push on the side would have it folding up.
